I usually draw small, and hate using pen cus you can't erase, so this was to try out of my comfort zone a little, and to practice shading. One of my summer art projects.
This. Is. So. COOL!! It's super amazing the detail you can see! I wouldn't be able to put enough concentration into doing something like this. So. Awesome....

I really like the shading on the horns, and the deepness of the purple. I'm not sure what to think about the dark scribbles throughout the body though. It seems as maybe they shouldn't be in the highlighted areas as much? Or do they denote scales I really like the background, it has a smoky appeal to it.
It's great to step out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself. You will generally be rather suprised.
